    It looks like the contract states that the home team will pay the visiting team $900,000 for each game. So that would mean the 3rd game would technically be the "money game" for App.

    That's bizarre. Not sure why $900K needs to change hands for the first two games. Contracts, man.

    Just a guess, it's an easier way for UNC to buy out of the agreement. If they want to bail before 2025, they pay App the $900k and the 2019 becomes a money game.

    Normally (if I understand right) a team paying for a home game has to pay more than the value of the game if they cancel.

    Georgia State announced a money game with Ole Miss. Thank God they didn't announce a home-and-home. This thread would be 200 pages by Friday.
