we can go ahead and forget winning the SB Conference this year.
We probably won't even make it to the championship game.
looking at those numbers, we arnt doing too bad, tied for second in a pretty dismal basketball conference

Must be their coach who is 118-190 in his 9+ seasons there.

Or, of their 6 losses at home this season. 5 have all been decided within 5 points, 3 of them being by 1 point. 1 lost to UTA by 20. So, no, nobody in the conference save UTA has had it “easy” in Monroe this season.

Hate it when facts mess up a good argument. Let some of these guys B and M about the team and coaching. Don’t let the facts mess them up. LOL

what I will moan about are these numbers. We shot 44% from field, 25 from 3, 60 from foul line. ULM shot 52,35 and 79. thank heavens we only had 9 turnovers and forced 18. We also had 8 steals to there 2. we were lucky to get out of there with a win over a poor basketball team. those shooting numbers will not beat good basketball teams. this team needs to start getting hot and playing 40 minutes of good basketball.

How many of those have had an 18pt lead in the 2nd half?

So, you seeing a pattern?(smile) and don't forget those last 5 minutes of games. Look, we are in a dog fight for 2-4th seed. Now tied with Gag and TexST. who plays the best down the stretch will win. would be nice to see this team go on a 5-6 game win streak, something that doesn't happen much.

Only was speaking to the point of Monroe being an easy place to play or not.

The trends and shortcomings of our team this season have been and continue to be discussed. I’m not happy with our play the last 5 minutes of games, FT shooting, & getting our post players more involved in the offense. But that’s in just about every game thread already..

TexSt seems to be on a roll, use to think of them for their defense but they have found an offense, them and Little Rock seem to be the two teams that might be separating themselves.

I have watched all the teams play, small sample size for most of them - 1 game, but Little Rock looked to be the best "team" and their record/standing indicate that as well. They were well rounded - talent on the inside and out.
They weren't limited to playing big or small. Texas St. seems to always fade at the end of the season. But this new format could really shake things up, nothing like playing a home game.
GA State struggles in game one of a road trip and we struggle in game two. I hope we break that trend tomorrow and don't give back the ground we just picked up on them.
