Blocks and bad snaps count as missed too

    The ones against UF.

Still, Koo didn’t start a full season until he was a senior, and he gave up kickoff duties to Bass that year.

Foley and Bass are the top two all-time, IMO. I’m leaning towards Bass as #1, but there’s no discounting what a big star and larger-than-life personality Foley was on our first great teams.
    Thanks, Rastabot!

I meant to say early inability. Most of those misses were in his freshman year. It took Koo into his junior year to beat out Alex Hanks as the full-time kicker. He couldn’t beat out a guy that got beat out by a soccer player in December. The Koo we saw in late 2015 and all of 2016 was not the same guy we saw in 2013 and 2014.

The interesting thing about this list: The Georgia Southern kicker with the longest tenure and greatest success in the NFL isn't on this list

If you're talking about Rob Bironas, he only kicked one year at GS where he split time with Scott Shelton. His first three years of eligibility were at Auburn. They may have a minimum attempts limit for the record books.
AU 1998 - 18/18 XP, 12/16 FG (led team in scoring with 54 points)
AU 1999 - 4/5 XP, 1/4 FG (replaced by the punter, transferred to GS for 2000 season)
    GS 2000 - 18/18 XP, 7/13 FG
    Career - 40/41 XP (97.6%), 20/33 FG (60.6%)

*Scott Shelton GS 2000, 22/26 XP, 5/7 FG
