Well done team especially Tyler Bass, go out and get a NFL spot. Coaches keep up the good work.
Soaring on to the Sunbelt! GATA Eagles!

Well, why doesn't this excite me that much? Maybe because we don't want to bring up offensive/defensive efficiency? But I'm glad one phase of our game was highly acceptable. To many 7-6 seasons strung together will lead to a pretty boring GS football existence.

The takeaway from gseagles article is this:

Georgia Southern's 2019 opponents combined to win 98 games in 2019, among the top total in the country. The Eagles played four 10-win teams, beating one and coming darn close on another. Three of those four finished ranked in the final AP Top 20 (LSU - #1; Minnesota - #10; Appalachian State - #19) and Louisiana received votes. Georgia Southern also played seven bowl teams in 2019.
I don't think we've even face 2 teams that finished ranked in the AP poll, let alone 3. We definitely need to be better than we are, but the schedule is probably the toughest ever.

Strong or weak schedule, just win. We had Minnesota, no way we should have lost that game. Those are the type of games we need to pull out/W. Now I'm all for playing P5's but can we get a P5 not named, Bama, Clemson, LSU, Auburn, UGA? How about Boston College, Syracuse.......

We definitely should have won that game.

They just tried and tried to hand it to us, but we refused.

That one really was on the defense playcalling. No way we should have gone prevent on 3rd and 30... Or the next 3rd and long, or the next one one on that drive.....

What has it been? 5 P5 teams we have led inside the 2 minute warning and lost them all?

There was only one 3rd and long on that drive.

We didn't go prevent on 3rd and 30.

What didn't help was missing the first tackle to make it 4th and 10+.
