Default NAVY vs K- State at half time

    NAVY 10 , K-States 10

Guess well have to see if Navy' HC Ken an make offensive adjustments.

Navy's upgraded defense is doing well!

Flexbone teams 2-0 vs P5 teams.

It’s probably because they are running so much out of the shotgun. Glad to see the offense catch up with the rest of football.

All the service academies cut WAY back on that stuff in 2019.

It's not. I think I could count on one hand how many times Navy was in the gun, and probably still have fingers left over. I like having it in the play book, but not as our primary formation.

In the Army-Navy game Navy’s quarterback ran wild out of the gun. Nothing wrong with moving forward. Paul Johnson would probably still be the coach at Georgia Tech if he had modernized.

My understanding is that all the academies went WAY “back” in 2019 in terms of formations and plays.

They may have used some gun against each other, but they weren’t “modernized” to the extent they were in 2015-18 or so.

That was Navy’s big storyline throughout spring, fall, and into the season. They essentially turned Perry loose as an old-school option QB this season.

What the academies did was "EXICUTE" with their offenses!
