Then Monken had to come in and make flex option players out of them

    2010, 10-5, SoCon 2nd, Made semi Finals
    2011, 11-3, SoCon 1st, Made semi finals
    2012, 10-4, SoCon 1st, Made Semi Finals
    2013 7-4 & beat Florida

I think if you add up the wins they are almost double the 4 years before.
I'm a huge monken fan but will point out that Hatcher and Monkens first seasons wouldve both ended at 7-4 if not for expanded playoffs by the time 2010 came around. And i bet you not many fcs teams wanted to play that 07 team in the playoffs... many of us even argue the kick was good and they should've been socon champs.

But it's neither here nor there at this point.

What was GSU ranked in 2010 before the playoffs vs the 2007 team?

You also must account for Monken's playoff wins against FCS playoff teams that proved they were the best of the best in FCS which Hatcher never did!

Absolutely no offense to you gsu01 but
Someone or people may have told you that GSU01 but it doesn't make it true. I like Eskimo have a hard time believing it with the win with Monken's record.

2007 team was also a missed FG away from a conference championship.

This sounds about right. Didn't CCL make a similar comment about CWF when asked what he learned from the different HC's he worked with?

I doubt Monken could have turned around the team so quickly if the players didn't believe in the Flex system or what it meant to be a GSU winner!

Then Monken did luck up getting into the playoffs, yet he beat some of the best teams the playoffs had to offer. Maybe Hatcher could have done that, then again maybe not.
