And Senior Bowl is basically a guarantee you get drafted these days.

I attended the Senior Bowl a few years back (after spending a few days in Biloxi). While there I heard a lot of talk about scouts from all the teams having been there for the practices, but few had actually stayed for the game, i.e. the game was really just for the fans. Bottom line being that it worked the same as you’re saying the NFLPA game does.

+1, during the week is where Tyler will shine. Like I said, just stand near him and listen.... BOOM.

Historically specialists are 4th round or later, with a few outliers. Of course there was the Bucs drafting Aguayo years ago and we saw how that turned out. Despite the importance of the position, most teams arent willing to spend a draft pick on it unless its a sure bet. There are always a handful available to be picked up throughout the year so teams can spend their picks on other areas of need.

I wish Bass’s stats from last season had occurred this season.

Good chance he would be drafted.

Unfortunately, he has been asked to do much more in much worse conditions. He is one of our very best, but his stats from this season don’t show it.

I doubt he will get drafted. (It’s pretty unusually for kickers. Maybe with last year’s stats, but unlikely now.)

Doesn’t mean he won’t play in the NFL, though. He very well could.
