PFF has been big on Vildor since last year.

However he didn't really get targeted this year. He also didn't get a chance to play several games against pass happy opponents while he was injured.

He just doesn't really have the stats this year, but that's not a bad thing either. The corner you don't really hear about is the really good one.

    It isn't.

Wes Kennedy didn't have 800 yards this year.

PFF definately watches film, and doesn’t stat scout.
They “grade” players on film, and the score is somehow cumulative, isn’t it?
    Thanks, Rastabot!

Brinson has been a monster tackler in his career. He has given up too many plays when he was just a step behind, though.

Didn’t Liptrot make PFF’s third team?

No, I am not. There's three all-conference teams and honorable mention and he didn't get any of them. Kennedy has more yards a game than all but 3 guys in the league, more yards a carry than all but 2 guys in the league and arguably didn't have the same quality offensive line as ULL, App, or State. Maybe he doesn't have enough attempts per game to qualify from missing 4 games but there's no justification for him not being on there if it's just the eyeball test.

He's also been really good at shedding blocks and making tackles in run support. If the other team is stretching outside, you definitely want them running in his direction.

He didn't make the top 4 spots on the SB list either. Apparently PFF & The SB are wrong? He's likely the 5th or 6th best back in the league and he missed 4 games. It's a strong league for RBs.

He is a great runner. I'd think next year with a full year he will be on those lists.
