Thread: Realistic Bowl Selection

I looked today and Big Frank reported the Camellia bowl on Tuesday. Last year the Cure Bowl committed to taking the runner-up. I don’t know if the Mobile Bowl (or Lending Tree Bowl) has done the same thing. If ULL won I could see them snagging Arkansas State.

This is a very true statement Klak, but this is a hypothetical thread.

He’s posted twice since then that the Camellia is unlikely to take the same team two years in a row, and later said he believes it’s the Cure Bowl

I will be very disappointed if it is the cure bowl and we lose 70% of the exposure of being in a bowl on a TV network.

I would think that if GSU went to the Cure Bowl and played a team like UCF that ESPN would have a split the TV schedule and show 2 games depending on the area or attendance.

Cure Bowl is likely our stop.

GS won't make an official statement until it has formally accepted a bid, and that likely won't come until Sunday afternoon. That said, everyone who I've talked to behind the scenes is leaning heavily towards Orlando. It was like that on Saturday night and hasn't changed since then.
