we are less than stellar on offense. You know nobody pretty much plays defense in SB but a lot of teams can offensively put up numbers. Even Gag today in their loss put up some huge numbers.

somebody said earlier it wouldnt have mattered if we could score 48...the defense was lost and the offense was playing behind and average all day. Shouldnt have been a surprise what they were gonna do, we werent rready

We were horrible on offense AND defense. Theyíre not mutually exclusive. But when the defense blows like it did today, it would be nice to have an offense that could at least keep us in the game. Blame the OL all you want but this is a nearly two year sample size on DeBesse and a three year sample size on Werts. Both are mediocre at what they do.

Also, itís inexcusable to market yourself as a blue collar football team, yet cannot convert on 3rd or 4th and short like right before half. We gave the ball right back to them and allowed them to kick another FG.

For those that complain about Debesse, what is your solution? We canít bring a new OC in at this point in the season, and if we make any type of wholesale changes on offense I guarantee we have some sort of natural growing pains so we really are stuck with what weíve got.

You've got crap pass protection and a QB with no pocket presense to make it easier for then. Run blocking isnt good at all either. Tell me what you would do as OC that we aren't doing now?

No change will happen until the end of the season and Iím skeptical that it even happens then. He just needs to do a better job. Maybe bench Cam Brown in favor of a better blocking TE. Itís clear Werts will never have good pocket presence, maybe a couple series for Tomlin per game wouldnít be the worst idea. Finding more creative ways to get the ball to playmakers like Kennedy, Hood, and Murray. Get D1 and Michaud more touches. Speed up the tempo from time to time. Thereís plenty we can do in the short term.

I’m not sure what your first few sentences mean... I think autocorrect might have got a hold of some of those words.

They scored a couple of trash time touchdowns and we scored one. (5 mins left and two possession game)

Our defense has to be great for us to have a chance and they were just ok today. +1 TO margin. Can’t let a team throw 42 times with no sacks.

We are averaging 25 pts a game. We have three games where we have scored more than 30 and it took 3 overtime’s to do it in one of those. We scored 32 in the Minnesota game; two touchdowns by the offense and everything else was defense and special teams scoring. If our defense doesn’t play great, then we don’t have a chance to win.

I just wish for Sloan and company, we could play a few more games where the offense allowed them a little more room for error on the scoreboard.

Who's the better TE on the roster?

I'm all ears if we've got another Ward or Dean sitting on the bench.

If I had told you in July we would be without Miller, Cooper and Dowdell on the offensive line you probably would have pictured things going exactly how they went on offense today. If Debesse wants to call the play and Werts make the read that gets those guys back, Iím all for it. This offensive line is bad. It should have been pretty obvious this was coming when the coaching staff spent so much time recruiting offensive linemen in last yearís class.
