And rightfully so right now. Heading into next year I would expect to see us top 3 once our unproven guys prove themselves this year and we add King to the mix next year.

Huh? A week ago he was headed here. Maybe some of our knee jerk comments.

Says a credit isn't transferring over. May go JuCo route to get an associate's degree. Probably still trying to sort stuff out.

    Well, great.

I'm not sure if this transfer portal thing is such a great idea. Seems more downside and stress than anything else.

All this movement must make recruiting a real nightmare.

I would assume if he goes the JUCO route and gets his AA, he'll still be eligible for us in 2020 as if he were at GS in the fall as originally planned. Is that right?

    Which knee-jerk comments?

Looks to me like he simply has an issue with credits not transferring here from JUCO. Perhaps the math he took to “get eligible” doesn’t have a credit-worthy equivalent at GS. That happens all the time in the transfer process, even within the USG.

    And it’s usually math, IME.

An associate’s would make the transfer process much smoother.

Transfer portal is a great idea because coach's are not longer allowed to block transfers to schools of the coaching choosing, like rivals or in conference schools. What does it matter where they go if the coach is free to leave for any school and any job he wants? Some coaches are such hypocrites.
No longer eating crow for saying "The TO is gone get over it!!"

I’d imagine this would be the case. He could play JUCO ball this fall (he went through spring ball at his current JUCO) and come in as part of the 2020 class.

The major issue would be that we’d have to keep recruiting him through another cycle.

Yep same thing Cam Newton, Nick Marshall, and countless others have done. Play at a JUCO for a year in place of transferring and sitting out. I was a little confused as to why Creamer was going to air out this year instead of playing. But like you said it changes nothing as far as him still being eligible in 2020 but it means now we have to keep recruiting him because he could sign with anybody once he gets that degree.
