Picked up transfer CB Trey Creamer from Iowa. That’s huge for 2020.
Too many Urkels on your team that's why your wins low

I hope you are right. Doesn't seem like Iowa is too concerned

"... He took a redshirt in 2017 and then started the 2018 preseason season at #2 on the depth chart. However, by the time the season began, Creamer had already been passed by Joshua Turner and Julius Brents on the depth chart, and as the season progressed and Iowa saw key injuries at corner, it was obvious he’d slipped further, as Riley Moss and others saw playing time ahead of him. All-in-all, he never played a down as a Hawkeye.
Creamer, along with fellow cornerback Matt Hankins, made headlines this past season for his role in a disorderly house violation while the team was on the road playing Penn State. Both players were suspended from team activities for a week and didn’t make the trip to West Lafayette to take on Purdue.

Creamer was a player we recruited hard out of HS. My guess is that he just over-reached a bit in going to Iowa.

I assume we want him at CB, but you never know. He also played RB in HS, so we might be bringing him in as an “ATH.”

We will need him at CB since we’ll lose Brinson and Vildor

Maybe maybe not on needing him. On paper we have recruited CB better than any other position the past couple years. 3 of our top 4 players out of the past 2 classes combined have been CB’s.

This says he’ll begin at RB at GS.

Based on his HS film and lack of CB snaps at Iowa, I’m not surprised.

That Athlon article had GS RB group listed as fifth or sixth in the Sun Belt for 2019. 2020 is shaping up to be a big jump from there.

That article says King has to sit this season. I guess waivers are for important things like having too much competition for the starting role and not frivolous things like sick relatives.

I wonder what happens to the “signing bonuses” players like Fields get? I mean, after they decide to transfer. Do they have to return the cash to the bag man?
