You guys still make me chuckle.....

BVG and TS were pretty much just as awful.

But since TS is a really nice man, people bend over backwards to make excuses. I think, both their careers will look similar in the long run. BVG ain’t hurting a bit, and has managed to make more money each time he changed jobs. The man is making far more than he ever would have as a long term GS coach. I suspect TS will too.

Incompetence is a bad thing, no matter whether the guy responsible seems nice or not.....

”didn’t watch film.” “Need to change the culture.” Yeah. That was legit.

(and no... I don’t like Chadwell either. He looks like another BVG..... And we want nothing to do with anyone who bashes us publicly. That’s pretty easy. I can see why he wasn’t hired.)

Nah. Pete’s sarcastic post re: one absurd issue was just another chance for me to weigh in again on another absurd issue

. . . except no one's making any excuses for him or saying anything about him being a nice guy. Except to say that Kirby Smart wasn't responsible for GS hiring him. You've been implying that he wasn't incompetent, just determined to intentionally tank the program. From that standpoint, YOU'RE the one excusing his failure as intentional and not due to incompetence.

He may not get the pariah treatment that BVG does, but that's simply because he wasn't also a jerk while he was failing miserably.

. . . and then you go and reference incompetence. So which is it, incompetence or sabotage conspiracy?

And please answer the question of whether, since Kirby Smart is able to hand pick our coaches in order to ensure our demise, Chad Lunsford is also a plant, and if not, why did Kirby Smart let him get hired?

Crap. You know what this means, don't you?

    Finish the syllogism:

    1. BVG is just as bad as CTS
    2. CTS was so bad that he had to have been a plant.
    3. ?
Don't choose to be annoyed. Choose to be amused.

If you think TK is the reason we don't have better non-conference football schedules, see this post.

BVG didn't go 0-fer. He also had a much better defense. He was a better coach than Summers.

He also didn't look like he was about to cry/had been crying in post game interviews or whine about people looking at him out in public. He was just a dick.

if all wigs are wogs, but not all wogs are wigs, and only some have widgets but the rest have whackets, how many purple apples are on the tree?
People never grow up. They just learn how to act in public.
