In another post I've read on this forum one or more of our posters suggested that App. may change their offensive scheme. I don't know if thats true or not.
That maybe good or it may be bad. If they change it to much it maybe in our favor.

They're definitely changing their scheme. It's not as radical as going from the flexbone to Air Raid, but they've hired a pass-first head coach.

He's already discussing (in print, no less) the challenges of getting his players and coaches prepared to implement said new scheme.
    Thanks, Rastabot!

Lets hope the players and coaches dont catch on quickly. The players need to embrace and bond with the coaches and the new offensive scheme. ;-)

I should add that I've heard conflicting accounts of what they plan to do on defense (though no recent news).

They hired Ted Roof, whose experience is the 4-3, amid assertions they'd maintain the same 3-4 scheme they've run since bringing in Nate Woody. Within a week or two, they were talking about a multiple defense which would incorporate elements from both Roof's expertise and their former scheme.
    Thanks, Rastabot!

Sounds like what we went through in 2016/17 just on the other side of the ball.
