It's no better if he's at WR. We're not gonna throw the ball to a WR more than 20 times in a season...and that's being generous.

Those guys are legitimately out there just taking up space.

We could put Usain Bolt at WR, and we'd still never throw him the ball.

The key positions with regards to speed for us are the QB, 2 RBs, the primary slot, and arguably the TE/HB.

    Hard to argue with this.

Not to wonder off the thread but saw yesterday Army plays GagSt at Gag this season. Army will flat out crush them. Back to the blue/white game, I'm really happy to know that it looks like we got a real good backup QB to maybe spell Werts a series or two. That was a major fear we had all last season, What if Werts goes down?

I agree and disagree. I agree that we are only going to throw it 20 times a year to a WR but having a guy with Thompsonís speed could make those 20 passes more productive. So I disagree that itís no better if heís at WR.

He played in all 12 games (https://gseagles.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=3633). Had a lot of great special teams plays

It's not about how many touches the WR gets. If you can't run with him, you have to give safety help.

Teddy Craft made a huge difference even when he didn't catch a lot of passes.

That's assuming he's big time like Breida.
