Plus went on to have probation revoked for another felony violation.
I do not believe he had another conviction. His probation was revoked because of not paying the fine from the first offense. I think he has struggled more financially than anything else. Jeff Monken still tries to look out for him.

Are you talking about Swope? I'm talking about Lewis.

He played for a season at West Alabama for former GS assistant Gilliland (played alongside Tyreek Hill, interestingly enough).

After that, he wound up at Reinhardt (NAIA?), where he had a solid—if unremarkable—senior season.

I think the pounding from his first two years took their toll, plus he was well suited to our offense in 2011 and 2012.

I think he and Breida would have made a nice combo in 2014-15.
    Thanks, Rastabot!

meh. he's great, but teams aren't big on drafting kickers.

Six kickers were drafted last year.
Too many Urkels on your team that's why your wins low

Big or not, Bass has the kind of talent that will not be overlooked.

I think he will have a successful pro career. He is so good under pressure.

I think I spoke too soon! Now that I’ve looked again, maybe not. I was thinking Ray Johnson was a Senior but glad he isn’t. The ones I’ve listed below doesn’t mean they necessarily would be high on a team’s radar but would likely participate just to have more players out there competing and doing drills.

    K - Tyler Bass (our best prospect ? )
    DL - Ty Phillips
S - Jay Bowdry (Special Teams / SS)
DB - Jesse Liptrot (Special Teams / Nickel CB)

Anyone else seeing a missing player or two?

Brinson and Vildor will be our highest targets for draft next year
