Thread: Who wants a victory chair?

Don't want to ruin anyone's fun, but someone with enough money has rigged the system. They put in a monster bid on every single chair and the whole set to make sure they get the complete set. That's not to say someone with more money won't come in and make a game of it, but any of you thinking you might be able to grab a $500 chair are not going to get a chance. But, it's for a good cause so......

That's $5K raised for something that probably cost us $500 (maybe less). Pretty good return on investment if you ask me. And great idea whoever thought to sell these off.

Quick Google puts them at school suppliers for around ~$20 each.

    So $200.

And hell they may have just grabbed them out of a closet somewhere.

Not shocking in the least. I didn't even look closely because I know there is someone with much deeper pockets than me that will push them beyond what I'm willing to spend. It's all good.... it benefits the AIA guys. Happy for them.

No not bidding, my man cave is full, no place to put even one. But could you imagine if you owned a huge home with a huge man cave? Those 10 with a plack describing the significance of them would be pretty cool hanging up.
