Not sure of the timeline but after the BOR approves it, then it will be available via FOIA or we'll just release it to the media outright.

I am all for keeping Lunsford and staff but I think a salary increase and contract extension after one full season is premature. I would have preferred a review and increase in incentives now, but waited for the salary increase and contract extension until the end of next season. Not saying Chad won’t succeed, but how many of you guys got a significant salary increase and increased incentives after one good year on the job? We may have painted ourselves into another corner.

What corner? The coaching industry is not like jobs for the rest of us, so the same rules don't really apply.

It was an extension for one year. We didn't break the bank by doing that.

And until you've seen the details, you don't know. We may have only increased the base amount by a small amount but adjusted the incentives by a good amount to provide motivation to hit them again.

It was VERY important to get the assistant pay up though.

They stated the money is mainly coming from donations already made to the Coaches Continuity Fund ($200k of Lunsfords own btw), and Summers getting a real job was basically a $300k windfall to the budget. The CCF exists almost solely for this purpose. No harm no foul.
