and if a G5 team,,like Southern, beats a TOP team in the P5 like Bama or anyone else...……… well they shouldn't schedule GSU!

And there is a legitimate argument that G5 and P5 should be separate divisions for just this very reason. The FBS landscape is not even... But after the scare we gave UGA, do you think they are going to schedule us again?

Doesn't matter, as I said NDSU is a G5 school playing in the FCS. They are a great team & worthy of a game with GSU. Now we can play an HBSU and win big, but who will attend the game. NDSU gas a higher power rating than most G5 teams. Weather we win or lose we are playing a higher ranked team than many of the teams we play.

The ONLY thing that matters right now is WINS. There is no upside to playing NDSU. Especially IN Fargo.

No one is saying that we "can't" beat them. What we are talking about is what happens IF we don't beat them? There is no upside. If we win, we were supposed to win because they are FCS. But IF we lose, then the perception is that we have lost to a lowly FCS school. No one pays attention to WHICH FCS school. They just say you lost to an FCS school. Not to mention that some are saying we should do a H&H, and that is asinine!!

The point of an FCS on the schedule is a cheap and easy home WIN. Why screw that up by scheduling not only a good FCS team, but arguably one of the best ever in the FCS?

NDSU is ranked over many G5 teams. "IF" they continue their success then a "LOSS", if you think that GSU would happen, IMO would not effect us much for a G5 bowl bid. Now if we go 6-6 or 7-5 then maybe. I hope we would have 9+ wins at the end of the regular season, wouldn't you think? even if there FCS there power ranking could help win or lose.

Have other FBS teams besides UGA singed to play GSU?

Your mistake is that you are using logic and personal knowledge that says that NDSU is a good team. You know what 98% of the rest of CFB fans and the world will see.... LOSS TO AN FCS TEAM. As I said earlier, the point of an FCS game is a cheap, easy home win. Nothing more and nothing less. There is absolutely no reason for us to play NDSU. Our FCS game every year should be the Carolina School for the Deaf and Blind. At the end of the day, we need WINS. Nothing else matters.

I HOPE for 9+ wins, too. But it's not a birth right and we can't assume that it's going to happen every year. Look at next year's schedule. Do you see 9+ wins there? I sure don't.
