Was looking at the EMU board, and one of the posters said we had a no name QB when their QB wasn't even good enough to play at Iowa so he transfered to EMU. They also talk trash about our offense because we don't have as many yards per game as them. Should be a fun game!

Was listening to Phil Steele on ESPNU radio and he said that even though GS is favored, he felt that EMU was better in every phase of the game. He didn't mention special teams, but did say that EMU's defense was better - line, LB and DBs. Said the GS offense had underperformed all season and the extra prep time would be enough to stop the option. Mentioned their Big 10 QB too. Also said EMU had a coaching advantage because their coach had been to a bowl game. Of course they said all of those things about Bowling Green too. Will be interesting to see how right he might be. All he talked about was stats to come to his decision. He said App would lose too.

Listening to the EMU fans, their QB that's been injured (and supposedly back for this game) is better than the Big 10 transfer.

To be fair, most were very close losses. They just aren't good at finishing games. But the MAC isn't exactly the best measuring stick.
