Thread: Future Conference Schedules released

    Default Future Conference Schedules released

    http://sunbeltsports.org/news/2017/8...2018-2019.aspx

    Looks like the league isn't doing cross-division rivalries after all even thought Troy and South Alabama will play every year (not sure how that works).

    We will play Arkansas State at home two years in a row (this year and next).

    And 2019 we will play @App, @StAte, and @Troy (ouch).

    Our entire road schedule in 2019 is brutal:

    @LSU
    @Minnesota
    @App
    @stAte
    @Troy
    @USA

    So, in terms of travel, yes.

    In terms of competition, only somewhat. And it's very front loaded.

    Also will play at Coastal Carolina 2 years in a row (this year and next) before they have to play at Statesboro.

    Don't forget PJ Fleck is now at Minnesota. He might really have them going in a couple of years.

    Compared to what we normally play I think that's a pretty tough schedule. I mean yeah Troy hasn't beaten us since the move up and I think stAte is overrated but in 2019 all those teams will likely still be at the top of the conference.

    That's why I said maybe.

    Will be interesting to see how they develop under him.

    I am constantly waiting to hear news out of Minnesota or wherever Fleck is regarding a Jonestown-esque catastrophe.

    Good Lord how do we get Ark St four years in a row? That is some straight up BS.
