  1. Poll: Re: [GREATEST GAMES - FIRST ROUND] 2002 Western Kentucky vs 2004 Wofford

That was, and still is, the biggest team I have ever seen in Paulson. We didn't get in down on the goal line and it turned out to be the difference maker. We get in there, and our huge 4th quarter...

    Re: OT: New Traditions

Love the Shoot To Thrill team intro. I actually wish they would let it play longer. It's one of the few times I like piped in music during the game rather than the band playing.

Re: Your Favorite GS Football Play.....

Not me, but it was the first GSC game I could really remember watching on tv as a kid, and was a big part in making me a lifelong fan. I must have run 100 laps around our living room when Frankie...

Re: Your Favorite GS Football Play.....

That was Vernon Hargreaves. I'm pretty sure he was a legit 4.4 guy and a first round draft pick.

Despite what some say about that year's UF team, their defense was loaded with talent and we ran...

Re: Your Favorite GS Football Play.....

2015 UGA forced fumble by Antoine Williams with scoop & score by Caleb Williams. The stunned silence of Sanford(minus one particular corner) was beautiful. I knew we were going to be in it until...

Yep, he's said as much. Most teams like Vandy won't consider it. He even said UGA told him to quit calling.

Another coach probably would have had our RPI in the teens that year right?

Re: End of the year thoughts on baseball

No maybe about it. We won 42 games in '09 and were a lock. '14 is the only debatable year. We won 40 that year.

We probably would have a couple of at larges had we not won the tournament a couple of years. Maybe Hennon should have lost out of the tourney those years to find out.

Re: End of the year thoughts on baseball

Yep a change in philosophy. We need to become Murderer's Row. There is a Victor Roache on every high school team just begging to come to GSU and Hennon is intentionally signing slap hitters.

Re: Where to buy a Southern jersey?

No, the demand for our brand is too low. Our licensing department will hand out a license to just about anyone and everyone who wants to slap our logo on a product.

If people were buying more or...

    Re: Alcohol Sales

Again, from the article I posted, Ga St. makes very little to no money off of alcohol sales due to having an off-campus stadium. Not sure why that's the case, but I'm sure somebody here knows why. ...

    Re: Alcohol Sales

Troy averaged almost 25,000 in attendance the last 2 years. Way more than us. I can't say how many of those were "beer drinkers", but given that over half of our attendance is under 21, I'm going...

    Re: Alcohol Sales

Here's the answer to the revenue question. This article is 4 years old but I don't think the numbers would be much different today. At 43%, Troy gets between $80,000 - $90,000.

    "Last year, Troy...

    Re: Alcohol Sales

1/2 million??? If that's the case, I'm staying home from games as Paulson will no longer be safe. Everybody in the stadium would need to be falling down drunk to raise that kind of money.

Professional vs amateur sports. But I guess we could go ahead and start selling booze at high school games too. It would definitely bring in much needed funds to the booster clubs.

We're already selling it at games. If you can't go 3 hours without a beer, then pay the premium to sit in the proper section.

Re: Updated Game Times Announced (LSU + others)

Rating the game day experiences from the SEC opponents we have played:

    1. Alabama
    2. Auburn
    3. Ole Miss
    4. Florida(distant 4, possibly cantankerous about their season)
