I attended the Senior Bowl a few years back (after spending a few days in Biloxi). While there I heard a lot of talk about scouts from all the teams having been there for the practices, but few had...

Sanford then Brannen then Dorman then off-campus for me. Dorman was juniors and seniors when I was there. At least we didn’t have far to go for baseball and basketball games in those first two.

Sanford Hall present. Yeah, believe it or not all you young folk, Sanford was once a dorm.

We’ve ended up making a reservation at the Marriott, as well. Looking like outside of the team hotel the Marriott is going to be GS central.

Me and the Mrs. went round and round about whether we would be able to go to any of the bowls. Finally decided we’d find a way if it was the Cure (appropriately after the year she’s been through). No...

An alumnus, or two, in the mold of T. Boone Pickens, Jr.

Coach’s always has our games. May not always be on the big screen, however.

I’d say that he might have been an inch taller than Crawley, solid but no hulk. He just knew how to get into position and go after it.
11th November 2019, 10:12 PM
Crawley was a beast tonight, especially up until the point that he got his third foul and had to back off a bit. That and having a couple of other guys (of the seven we played) with four fouls...

My wife and I are currently in our hotel about 2 miles from UNF’s campus. Any other GSUFANS.com posters going to be in arrendance?

Hey, BVG, is that you? (jk)

I have to agree in part with what birdseye is saying. I was very frustrated after having sat through what must have been at least 15 minutes of non-stop commercials waiting to hear what Coach had to...

Solution: if you win you can give me the ticket, I’ll claim it and give you a percentage. Say 80%-20% (80% for me, of course)

This reminds me that I need to smuggle in a pair of clippers to cut down the greenery that’s been growing from a seam in the concrete under my seat.

Reading all of this is a real mixed bag for me, as my wife is currently in treatment for breast cancer. Much of what’s been said is very scary, but on the other hand it increases my gratitude that...

Well, they did make a call but we appealed it, but still don’t see why that process is taking this long.

I believe that the Bananas organization leases it, but it’s owned by the city. Not sure who is responsible for maintenance under that scenario.

Pretty sure that Varnado hasn't played in like their last 3 or 4 games. It would be just our luck for him to show up Friday night. I'd be okay with him being less than 100% if he does.

I've lived in Savannah for almost 7 decades now and I'd much rather be here than in Statesboro at any time other than when our Eagles are playing. To each his own, I guess.
5th January 2019, 05:25 PM
If someone had told me that we'd win an away conference game by double digits with Ike and Montae out and Tookie scoring only 4 points and committing 5 turnovers I'd have thought he was crazy. Really...

My son has degrees from three schools; Armstrong, GA Tech and George Mason. He does pull for Tech, but says that, having grown up a Georgia Southern fan, our Eagles will always be his #1. It happens.

That was right in front of us and definitely on the periphery of the on-field celebration. It was obviously genuine and heart-felt, truly touching to see.
