  1. Re: What would you say are our biggest needs in recruiting?

Start with a dual threat QB(most important). ADD 2 interior DL, 2 OL, then more speed any and everywhere.

    Re: Another Tookie???

Interesting how baseball, basketball, and football have the same issues in that regard. Everyone just needs a "guy".

    Re: DeBeese and Werts

I just don't subscribe to the theory that a filthy mouth is a great motivator, football team or church choir. When u cuss someone the natural tendency is to bow up. I know coaches do it, but it's...

    Re: Option Offense

I know that the coaches were excited and thought they had what they wanted at QB with the kid from Louisville, who was a big strong kid that could run and throw. He was not a Shai Werts type guy, but...

Said about as well as it can be said, especially the last paragraph. Until we make throwing the ball an integral part of the offense what you see is what we're gonna be.

Typed a long response to this, but deleted it. Let me just say this. People were upset/frustrated with the situation after he left more than anything, but I don't know anyone that hates WF, maybe u...

    Re: Option Offense

Absolutely agree with this. The fallacy of the option attack is that when we were really good running it we had better players than most of our opposition. That is not true at the moment, but there...

    Re: Option Offense

Don't have to recruit LSU type guys, just better guys than Sun Belt teams. That's where I would start and it will always start at the QB spot. See LSU QB situation. Doesn't matter what offense is run.

Here is what little I know from watching GS football since it started. When we were the most successful running the spread or triple option offense it was because we had a dual threat guy running...

We had one and there was no development at all. We still do things on the court that leaves me "scratching my head". It is beyond my comprehension that we want to play with smallish guys and still...

Let me respectively disagree with most of what you said. We are gonna have to throw the ball more to be really successful. Only way to get better is to actually do it. I think J. D. King is our best...

Re: Darion Anderson and JD King
