Someone save me the hassle of searching through the myriad of posts here. When/Where is this "unofficial" spot downtown?

    J-Hall, 3rd floor, A-side!

Liberty grad giving me the runaround about whether he's coming or not. Knocking his wife up was a huge mistake, tbh. Kid is killing all of our mojo.

Re: 2019 Cure Bowl Roll Call (& Parking)

I'm hoping to make it down there. Just a matter of when I come down. Got a colleague that's a Liberty alum that is interested in going down with me. But he's got a pregnant wife at home so would only...

Re: Mercer and Bobby Lamb “part ways”

On the contrary, I think Lamb was the perfect hire to start a non-scholly team in the Pioneer League. That's what he was originally hired to do.

    Re: Officiating Crew?

You're right. This is really important. Do you mind if I give you a quick suggestion?

If you dunk the official in a deep well of water and they don't drown, it means they're not a witch.

    Re: Rules question

Or, and this is the actual answer: No one wants to get lost in the mud on an obvious spike attempt to stop the clock. I know you guys don't like that answer. But that's just the way it always has...

    Re: Rules question

I think the refs in Minnesota were trying to screw us. We should have an investigation. Call in the FBI and get to the bottom of this, I say.

    Re: Rules question

I'd love for you to come out one day and officiate. You'd be great at it.

Sure, every play would have a flag and the game would take approximately 19 hours. But you'd be terrific.

    Re: Rules question

Of course if a backwards pass is a pass it's a loose ball. We've all seen that.

I'm just saying in this one specific situation, when a team is trying to spike the ball to stop the clock, the...

Not sure. Just one of those things that it's always been that way. I don't think five plus a loss of down is too punitive, though.

    Re: Rules question

And multiple people have given you the actual rule and it clearly states if in doubt the pass is forward and incomplete. And nothing in the rule states anything about which way the passer is facing.

    Re: Rules question

On your first thought, I wasn't around in the 70s and 80s and even if I was I wouldn't be caught dead watching a Florida State Criminoles game.

On this Minnesota play? Common sense.
