Re: CL not much of a coach

Will GSU fans hold out for the HC and staff if he doesn't do well this year and really doesn't bring the team up after the next season.

GSU has let go of a HC and staff for less.

Re: CL not much of a coach

I think that if Shai was in perfect shape we MAY have won the Gopher game, but I really think our record would be the same up to this point. We have a lot to work on besides having our QB healthy.

I love great talent and want a lot of it, but look at what Erk did in his first 3 years with mainly walk-ons.

Pete, remember to epoxy the jawbone first. We dont want the player wheedling it to get a splinter and contract Mad Cow! ;-)

    Re: Theories.

Pete I think your missing JCs main point. He would like you to send himself and me a bag, of Vidalia's best. ribs, beer and each a jawbone.

He and I have made that very clear in our posts!

I have no problem with a coach and his faith. The problem is how he is interpreting the bible and what is meant in certain passages & its application in the players life. That's why Christianity has...

Yes I knew it was a Jawbone of an @$$, but I think those would ne hard to come by. Someone near a sloter house could probably get the jawbone of a cow.

    Re: Theories.

Maybe they do, but it was brought up that the HC was more of a buddy to the players than a respected leader. Using the I'm your buddy approach rarely works as the first line to respect.

I have no problem with players praying before a game. I would hope that they are not asking GOD for a win, but hoping niether team has bad injuries and that they can play up to their potential.

  22. Re: Including XPs, Tyler Bass has scored 48% of our offensive points this season

That is what I was inferring. With out Bass things would be worse than they are now and thats a tough one to chew on.
  23. Re: Including XPs, Tyler Bass has scored 48% of our offensive points this season

Bass's leg is cocked and loaded & when he strikes the ball you can hear the Boooooooooooooom!

  25. Re: Including XPs, Tyler Bass has scored 48% of our offensive points this season

Do you remember when the Flex Option was called the Ham Bone back in 1985?

Maybe we should call our offense the "Bass Thunder Foot Option." where 3 points are better than none!
