It's looking like I might have to consider moving hosts again. I am supposed to be the only person with root access (except the host), and this is the second occurrence I've had where something I did not alter/add is on 'my' server.

I think this is because you reset my post count, personally :)

I can honestly say I've never seen someone continue to be so preoccupied with something so absolutely unimportant ;)
And I doubt that caused the 404 error. For whatever reason, there are hundreds of them a month.
Re: New Posts Button Internal Server Error
I'm seeing the same error when I hit 'New Posts'.
Re: New Posts Button Internal Server Error
I got the server error for about 6 hours today. as for the google malfunction, it appears oldfart hacked your edit access to google. :)
Re: New Posts Button Internal Server Error
Yahoo and Bing don't show the Viagra thing.
I wonder if they are using vmware and throwing a few hundred hosts on your server?
Re: New Posts Button Internal Server Error
The Google thing is obviously tied to recent search history on your personal computer. Obviously, GSUfanforever just outed himself. :)

That'd be a good point- had I actually been using my personal computer when doing that search.
Re: New Posts Button Internal Server Error
No, someone has (via root access), modified the source code of the frontpage, inserting a hidden footer note. It is not displaying on the page, but since it is in the source code it is hitting the search engines.
I'm not pleased with the host's response. I'm investigating what I'm going to have to do to changeover, but I don't relish making a change just prior to the start of the season.

Quit trying to cover for him... :)
